From Advanced Amber Kretaceous Zoologia archive. When this burmite amber fossil specimen was discovered it had already been fashioned into a pendant (note that the original cord is still attached). The clear amber reveals the partial remains of an unknown vertebrate animal. The most prominent remains are the bones and skin of a forearm, the head and the neck. Using magnification you will notice the bones under the skin and the teeth in the skull. Although it is a Cretaceous vertebrate it does not have the tell-tale protofeathers that identify it as a baby dinosaur and as such it is being offered with a very low reserve.
