A hippo skull

the shield 64cm

Condition: Teeth all present, the bone shows signs of weathering(?) so maybe the skull was found as opposed to be a trphy. Old restoration to fron left rostrum. Sutures have opened again either suggesting weathering or an old specimen. there are no further details to confirm either way.
Dimensions: 64 x 48 x 42cm
Mount: age unkn ow but appears to have some age
Estimate: £1,500 - £2,500
