A rare Georgian carved stone sundial

late 18th century
with 14 inch bronze plate signed Thomas Benbow Northwood and engraved with a map of the world and longitudinal measurements
117cm high

Condition: Dial now lose on top of pedestal; some small areas of chipping mainly around top to pedestal; traces of old black paint; dial slightly pitted but engraving stile crisp otherwise nice antique condition with no major losses or damages
Estimate: £2,500 - £4,000
