We spring from our mothers; nurtured and
protected by their embrace; our stories interwoven as our paths criss-cross
through time. We grow, developing our own individuality and trajectory but the
link to our place of origin always remains.
I made this piece at
the time of my mother’s passing and it remains, for me, a poignant reminder of
that connection.
